Happy Kids Sports program for Childcare Centers, ELC and Kindergartens
Happy Kids Sports program is a cost effective and effortless way of incorporating a sports and exercise component into your Childcare or Kindergarten curriculum. Sport classes not only benefit your students but they also differentiate your centre from others.
The standard Happy Kids Sports program follows the public school term.
Every Happy Kids Sports session provide an opportunity for each child to actively participate in sport activities and games. Children will have fun while also focusing on developing athletic abilities, exploring new interests, and building self-confidence.
By participating in our Happy Kids sports program, children not only improve their coordination and fine and gross motor skills, but also listening skills and social interaction. Furthermore, participating in the sport program helps young children to build a lifelong love of sports.
Our engaging and highly interactive sports program is delivered by expert coaches in a safe, supportive and non-competitive environment.
Our program can be tailored to suit your individual needs.
We provide our own age appropriate sport equipment.
Our multi-sport sessions are held both in and outdoors and therefore not weather dependent. Rain or shine, we are ready to play sports and have fun.
Early Years Learning Framework
Happy Kids Sports program follows the principles of the Early Years Learning Framework – Being, Belonging, Becoming – to develop children’s sporting and social skills in a safe, supportive and non-competitive environment.
Our program aims to promote and encourage children’s physical activity. It includes a range of group and individual movement games that expose children to new learning experiences. Involvement in these positive experiences helps children to develop an understanding of themselves as significant and respected. It also creates a sense of belonging as a member of the group.
Benefits of exercising to music
Incorporating music into our program has a positive effect on children’s emotional development and enjoyment of the activities.
Music evokes movement, and children love and need movement for their healthy development and growth.
Exercising to music
- Improves social skills
- Improves coordination and balance
- Boosts attention and improves concentration
- Improves listening skills
- Decreases anxiety – children are more likely to join the physical activities
In addition, music engages the brain while stimulating neural pathways associated with such higher forms of intelligence as abstract thinking, empathy, and mathematics.
